Just a quick note

So, I'm sitting here at home. I'm not really in the best mood, hasn't been the best day. I didn't sleep well today......Despite the fact I made an appointment with my barber, he had three people ahead of me........Had to loan my newly graduated but still broke little brother $200 dollars.............Little sister left the country this morning without calling to say goodbye.................Optometrist tells me she sees something suspicious during my eye exam.......Find a cologne I really like, embarrassed when sales lady tells me it's lady's perfume( smelled good though)...........and now I have to work all night long( damn sleep lab)................


But then...BUT THEN....BooBoo calls me just to say he loves me and he misses me. Now I feel like I just found a $2 bill on the ground.

2005 BET Awards

Tonight at work I watched the BET awards off and on(I got it like that).

All and All not a bad show, these shows have come along way since they first started them

some highlights:

the Fugees opening the show(who saw that coming) . Did anybody think that L-boogie was...I don't know something seemed a little off. When she dropped that big ass earring, dropped down, picked it up and then and then put it back on. I was rollin.


Beyonce and nem.....Oh, I mean Destinys Child giving Nelly, Terrence D. Howard and magic Johnson...Yes MAGIC a lap dance. They looked good and sung the song well though. Even though Terrence Howard looked like he wanted to rape my girl B.

Mariah.......See, Mariah can't walk and sing at same time. If she would've stood her ass still like she usually does she would have been alright. Trying to do too much Mariah.

Tito Jackson..Yes not Jermaine or Janet or not even Latoya. Yes, they send Tito Jackson to thank Michaels fans for their "love and support"....I thought that nigga was goin to jail.

Omarion lip synching through two songs...nuff said.........He can dance though

Mary J Blige's new song was hot!!!! I actually caught it on the radio the other day, yeah it's the Sh%t.


The highlight of the night for me was Gladys Knight getting the lifetime achievement award or whatever BET was calling it. She sang my favorite song...Well, my favorite Gladys Knight song anyway " Neither One of Us." She still got it.


That's pretty much all I can remember about the show at the moment.


BooBoo and I spent most of the day together...Sleeping. I made pancakes, we had some "fun", he fell asleep on my chest( I couldn't sleep cause he was snoring), got up and brought my happy ass to work.


Two more nights of this night shift S&*$ ..uh, stuff .

My baby and I have been together for six months today. Well I should say officially Back together( long story that I may blog about one day, although, I don't come off very well in it).
But, yeah. This is a big thing for us. We've been through hell. I've put him through hell and he's givin me a little in return( I probably deserved it, though).
It amazes me that we're together and doing better than most. We are sooo different.

I'm a introvert, he's very outgoing
I love reading(for fun), he wont sit still long enough to read a magazine article.
I love to eat, he counts calories(was a chubby kid)
I'm a city kid who likes comic books, watches the cartoon network and would rather rent a movie and order Chinese food than go to a club. He's a country boy who loves to dance and thinks that "The Parkers" is the funniest shyt on TV.
I works for us, though.


He has to work tomorrow night. So, after I get off from work in the morning I will make that hour long drive to his apartment, have some half sleep anniversary sex, fall into unconsciousness, get up, eat, have some well rested anniversary sex and then drive back to my place. Hey, it works for us.
We were talking today about how we would love to see each other on a daily basis but at the same time acknowledged that the space and the time apart is probably good for us.

just thinking

So, I started this blog less than 24 hours ago and I have writers block. Well, not exactly. I have plenty of things to blog about I'm just having trouble picking a topic. My main problem is that I just don't know what direction I want to take this blog.

I was thinking about some of the blogs that I frequent regularly and how I want my blog to mimic them in some ways. I want it to be insightful, introspective, funny, entertaining and I want to let people know who I am.

Awwww screw it. I'll just start writing and see what happens.

This Blogger thing

I was sitting here at work trying to remember how I came across this whole blogger thing. My jobs pretty simple , it allows me to spend hours thinking about meaningless things like that. I think the first blog I started reading was "A Moments Notice". Now that I think about , yeah I remember now. I was looking for SGL books, came across "On My Way" by Chris David, followed a link to his blog, started following the links to other blogs and the rest as they say is history

Well. I guess after reading about 15 blogs regularly for the past 6 or seven months i finally decided to start my own.

About me:
I'm a 25 yo African American man living in Biloxi, MS (well, stuck is more like it). I thought that this would be a good way to get some things off my chest and to join the blog community.
